About me: Missy and Marvin, were taken in off the streets by some very well-meaning people that did not want to see them in the cold all alone.
Unfortunately, more animals in the home than there were resources, so the wonderful people allowed them to go to Indy Neighborhood Cats, who helped one cat who needed some very critical medical care.
We got Missy and Marvin fixed and vaccinated, tested, and microchipped.
While they are not related, these two display a strong and consistent bond that is evident in nearly every aspect of their daily behavior.
They regularly groom one another, and sleep side by side most times.
If not side by side, then close by the other.
If Marvin is playing, Missy is watching (if not playing with him).
At mealtimes, they comfortably eat side by side.
Their bond is especially noticeable when seeking affection—if one is sitting on a human’s lap, the other will quickly follow or settle in as close as possible, making sure they remain near one another.
